    I'm really frustrated with my 2014 Range Rover's transmission – it's started slipping between gears when the engine is cold, and the dealer in Dubai quoted me nearly 9k AED just to drop the pan and "inspect". I've been asking around and heard that Sharjah has some indy shops that are much more reasonable, but I'm nervous about trusting just anyone with a ZF 8 speed. Has anyone here actually gotten proper Sharjah Land Rover Gearbox Repair done at a workshop that knows these trucks inside out? I don't want to end up with a botched job or someone who uses cheap parts. Any honest recommendations from fellow LR owners would seriously save me a lot of stress and money.

    I've been trying to find a decent garage for my 2016 Lexus IS and I keep stumbling across this one page https://brakepadreplacementdubai.ae/ class=""> that looks clean but I can't tell if it's an actual workshop or just a middleman that forwards your number to random shops. Has anyone here booked through them or had any experience with the guys behind it? I'm tired of calling places that quote one price over the phone then add on "service fees" when I show up, so I'd rather go somewhere that's upfront and has real customer feedback. Just want a straightforward pad change without the usual runaround.

    I've been battling a check engine light on my 2015 Wrangler for months now, code P0420 popped up and stayed no matter how many times I cleared it. Two different garages in Mussafah told me I needed a full catalytic converter replacement for almost 4,000 AED, which I wasn't ready to spend on a ten year old car. A coworker suggested I find a place that actually diagnoses the root cause instead of just throwing parts at it. After some digging I found a shop that offers a Jeep Catalytic Converter Fix Abu Dhabi – they ran a proper backpressure test and discovered it wasn't the cat at all, but a lazy downstream oxygen sensor and a small exhaust leak at the flange. They welded the leak, replaced the sensor, and cleared the code – total cost under 500 AED. It's been three weeks and no more light. Such a relief to have passed registration without a huge bill. If you get that dreaded cat code, don't assume the worst until someone actually tests the system. Saved me a fortune.

    So my 2016 Grand Cherokee with 140k km on the clock started developing a slight stumble at idle and a bit of hesitation when pulling away from a stop. I already replaced the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body, but the issue didn't go away. A friend suggested I try a proper fuel injector cleaning – not the bottle stuff you pour in the tank, but an actual ultrasonic and flow test service. I wasn't even sure where to get that done in Abu Dhabi until I found a page mentioning Professional Jeep Injector Cleaning Abu Dhabi and decided to give it a shot. The shop pulled the injectors, cleaned them on a machine, and showed me the before/after spray patterns – huge difference. Cost me around 450 AED and the engine feels much smoother now, plus I swear my fuel economy improved a bit too. I'm just wondering how often I should do this on a high-mileage Jeep. Every 50k km? Only when symptoms appear? Anyone else had long-term success with injector cleaning? Definitely cheaper than buying new injectors, that's for sure.
